Frequently Asked Questions
Our instant quoter automatically prices standard FDM parts based on your 3D model. A manual quote is reviewed by an engineer and covers everything else: SLS, MJF, SLA, CNC milling, multi-process work, production volumes, or parts with tolerances and requirements that need human judgment.
We accept STL, STEP, STP, 3MF, OBJ, and IGES files for 3D printing. CNC milling requires STEP files. If you only have a 2D drawing (PDF, DXF, or DWG), attach it and our CAD team can work from that. You can also upload a ZIP archive containing multiple files.
Most manual quotes are returned within 1 business day. Complex projects involving multiple processes, large batch quantities, or certification requirements may take up to 2 business days. We will reach out if we need additional information.
No. We accept orders starting at 1 unit with no minimum order quantity for any process or material. Whether you need a single prototype or a run of 500 parts, we will quote it.
Yes. We offer mutual NDAs and can have one executed before you share any files. Visit our NDA page to request one, or mention it in your quote request and we will send one over.
